Description

Virkon® S Powder is one of the most widely trusted and scientifically validated broad-spectrum disinfectants used in veterinary, agricultural, and biosecurity applications. Independently proven effective against 100+ virus strains, 400+ bacteria strains, and 60+ fungi/yeasts, it delivers an unmatched level of protection for environments where pathogen control is critical.

Approved by DEFRA for veterinary and farm use, Virkon® S is effective against all virus families known to affect both humans and animals — including pathogens of high economic and clinical importance. Its advanced peroxygen-based formula ensures reliable performance even in cold temperatures and in the presence of organic matter, where many disinfectants lose potency.

Virkon® S provides rapid action, achieving microbial kill in as little as 15–60 seconds (e.g., Newcastle Disease in 15 seconds, Foot and Mouth Disease in 30 seconds), making it ideal for routine disinfection and emergency disease-control protocols.

Available in multiple formats, from large economy tubs to pre-measured 50g sachets for easy, accurate dilution.
