VICRYL RAPIDE™ retains approximately 50% tensile strength at 5 days, with minimal remaining strength by 14 days, and is typically fully absorbed within 42 days. This rapid absorption makes it particularly suitable for superficial closures and veterinary cases where suture removal may be impractical or undesirable.

The USP 4-0 suture size provides finer tissue handling for delicate skin and mucosal work, supporting improved cosmetic outcomes. The undyed suture material further reduces tissue marking, while the braided construction ensures consistent knot security and smooth handling.
