VICRYL RAPIDE™ retains approximately 50% tensile strength at 5 days, with minimal remaining strength by 14 days, and is typically fully absorbed within 42 days. This rapid absorption profile reduces the duration of foreign material in tissue and can eliminate the need for suture removal—particularly beneficial in veterinary patients and sensitive anatomical areas.

The USP 5-0 suture size is optimised for very fine tissue approximation and enhanced cosmetic outcomes. The undyed suture material minimises tissue marking, while the braided construction ensures consistent handling and dependable knot security.
