Description

The VET360 Exposure Monitoring Badge is an essential safety tool for veterinary practices seeking to meet COSHH Regulations and RCVS Practice Standards for anaesthetic gas exposure monitoring. Designed for personal, breathing-zone measurement, this lightweight clip-on badge provides accurate data that general room monitors cannot capture.

The badge measures real-world exposure to waste anaesthetic gases—including Halothane, Isoflurane, Sevoflurane, and Nitrous Oxide—and reports values as an 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA), following HSE guidance. This enables practices to identify risks, document compliance, and protect staff working in areas where anaesthetic gas escape may occur.

Personal monitoring is especially valuable for pregnant staff, procedures with enhanced exposure risk, and practices preparing for inspections or audits. Each badge is easy to wear, requires no power, and is sent to the lab for fast, accurate analysis with clear reporting.

Routine monitoring every 14 months is recommended. Loaned badges must be returned within 3 months of issue to avoid replacement fees.
